This workshop provides participants with insights into the advancement in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as virtual assistants, its functions and an outlook on future development especially in enterprises. Hailed as one category of robots with growing potential to boost productivity and knowledge retention, these AI bots can benefit many different functions, including HR, Sales and Marketing, etc. Learn how enterprise AI bots through interaction with humans via a chat interface can help automate processes and free up humans for higher value work.

Synopsis

This workshop presents pedagogical lessons learned in a recently launched, interdisciplinary course on emerging technology, focusing on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV; drones). Participants will be taught how to fly mini drones to appreciate the huge business potential of this emerging technology (e.g., in areas such as logistics and supply chain management), to sensitise them to the regulatory and ethical-moral issues associated with this technology and to anticipate some of the challenges smart city managers will be facing when millions of small, low-altitude drones will deliver goods and information in densely populated urban areas.
