Dr Mark Chong is an award-winning teacher as well as a researcher and author. He also has extensive experience in building both undergraduate and postgraduate academic programmes. Beyond academia, Mark has contributed his advice to a number of governmental agencies and industry bodies in Singapore. In addition, he has been featured as a speaker and panelist at industry forums such as the Edelman Trust Barometer and PublicAffairsAsia. Mark received his Ph.D. from Cornell University. Professor Koh is involved in numerous councils, advisory boards and steering committees both locally and globally. He holds a PhD from the London School of Economics, and Bachelor and Master degrees from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. Mr Tan Kiat How was appointed Chief Executive of the Info- communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) and Commissioner of the Personal Data Protection Commission in Jan 2017. Prior to joining IMDA, Mr Tan was the Deputy Secretary (Cyber and Technology) at the Ministry of Communications and Information, where he was involved in refining the national cybersecurity strategy with the Cyber Security Agency. Mr Tan was also previously from the former Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, where he helped to develop the Intelligent Nation 2015 plan and implemented the Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network. He also served at the Ministry of Finance and the Pioneer Generation Office.

Cher Pong is the Chief Executive of SkillsFuture Singapore and also concurrently holds the appointment as Deputy Secretary (SkillsFuture) in the Ministry of Education. He is responsible for driving the implementation of the national skills strategy known as SkillsFuture, which aims to enhance the employability and competitiveness of Singapore's workforce. Cher Pong joined the Administrative Service of the Singapore Civil Service in 1996 and has served in various capacities across many Ministries and government agencies.

Professor Thomas Menkhoff is Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources and Programme Director of MSc in Innovation at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, SMU. He received his PhD in Sociology (Dr rer soc) from the University of Bielefeld, Germany, and subsequently taught Sociology, Development Planning, Organisational Behaviour and Business Management at Cologne University (Germany) and the National University of Singapore. He also served as consultant for a number of institutions in both the private and public sector, such as the German Agency of Technical Cooperation (GTZ), the Government of Malaysia, the Commonwealth Secretariat, the World Bank, the University of Brunei, ITB Bandung, etc. Together with several colleagues, Professor Menkhoff’s research and executive education activities are devoted to a better understanding of knowledge clusters and hubs, including the dissemination of respective cluster creation know-how (in relation to governance, planning, policy coordination, skills training, R&D, etc.) to leaders and policy‐makers in business and society based on examples from East and West.
